I've always dreamed of being a mother and prioritizing being present for every moment in the “little years” of my children’s foundational years.
The Little Years Therapy Co. was founded in 2023 following the birth of my first daughter, Ella.
I resigned from my job; a job that was once a career dream, to build a practice that allows me to put my family’s needs first while still fulfilling my passion of empowering families in the speech, language, and feeding world.
I provide intervention through a parent coaching model, ensuring that families feel empowered to support their child’s needs and gain confidence in using the provided education, strategies, and resources to help their child thrive in my absence.
I firmly believe that a child’s progress is determined through a family's ability to carry over strategies to maximize functionality, not through long-term or ‘extra’ hours of therapy time.
i pour my knowledge and support into
your family so that your child can return to being exactly what they should be doing at their age-
BEING A KID!
Samantha's attention to detail, her kindness and deep care, her ability to see behaviors in a bigger picture, and her willingness to walk through her plans with me have absolutely blown me away.
My son went from speaking only occasionally, to communicating clearly and daily adding new words to his vocabulary.
Samantha has been amazing to work with! She has helped us better understand how we can help him and we are so appreciative of the work she does. On top of her great work, my son adores her. He regularly is asking if he is going to see Samantha today.
My son has major food sensitivities which lead to which I suspected to be food aversion. After a thorough evaluation, Samantha identified his problems and we got to work right away. She is kind, thoughtful, and flexible.
We have worked with Samantha for about 3 months now and feel so thankful to have found her.
With experience in home health, inpatient, and outpatient rehabilitation settings, I specialize in treating medically complex infants and children with pediatric feeding disorders. Specialized training at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital keeps me abreast of the latest developments.
I am a nationally certified and state-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Florida.
Committed to maintaining high standards, I engage in yearly continuing education, aligning my practice with the latest research findings in child development and evidence-based practices.
Since 2019, I've focused on Early Intervention, addressing age-appropriate speech, language, and feeding skills across various diagnoses and severity levels. Ongoing training includes gestalt language processing, sensory regulation, play-based speech therapy, and development from birth to five years old.
